CAWGC recently announced the 2008 Scholarship Program. Since the program’s inception in 1996, the association has awarded over $63,000 to deserving scholars who will be pursuing degrees the construction field.

Applicants must be the child of a Will/Grundy union building tradesman or of the owner or full-time employee of a CAWGC member company, a high school senior who will be attending college full-time in the Fall of 2008 or a present full-time college student who is pursuing an undergraduate degree. A construction related major and a "C or better" average is also required.

The application deadline is May 30th. Interviews will be required for all first-time finalists.

Scholarships will be awarded in the Summer.

Members are encouraged to advise their employees of the opportunity.

Local high schools, colleges, and the unions have been advised of our scholarship program.
